The stereotype says Stoics sit quietly while the world burns.
The reality?
True Stoicism is about principled action.
Not emotional reactivity, but deliberate, values-based decisions.
You can protest without losing your head.
You can fight injustice without becoming what you oppose.
I’ve been called passive for not yelling louder.
But maybe that’s not weakness—maybe it’s control.
